The Naked Truth Project believes that everyone’s health is affected by their environment in infinite ways. We also believe that informed consumerism and knowing the truth about environmental influences are basic human rights. We know that individuals and communities have the power to change the systems that adversely affect human health.
The Naked Truth Project envisions a world where people make informed lifestyle and consumer choices in order to create healthy environments for themselves and others to live, work, and play in. We envision a health care system that acknowledges the need to examine these physical environments when exploring health problems. We envision a society that moves away from consumption of harmful synthetic chemicals toward healthy alternatives as people become informed about the effects of toxins on human health. We also envision a time when people are informed about the connection between common toxins and many prevalent illnesses in our society that can potentially affect anyone.
The mission of The Naked Truth Project is to serve as a resource center for nontoxic living and to educate people about the link between human health and the products we put in our bodies, on our bodies, and in our homes. |
